Duplicating Metrics and Scorecards

Save time by duplicating existing metrics and scorecards instead of creating from scratch.

Duplicating a Metric

Go to the Metrics page

Find the metric you want to duplicate

Click the duplicate icon (copy button)

The copy is created with "(Copy)" appended to the name

Edit the new metric to customize it

Duplicated metrics:

• Copy all settings from the original
• Get a unique name and identifier
• Can be edited independently
• Are created as unassigned (not attached to any scorecard)

Duplicating a Scorecard

Go to Scorecards

Open the scorecard you want to duplicate

Click Duplicate in the actions menu

The copy includes all sections and metric assignments

Duplicated scorecards:

• Copy all sections and their structure
• Maintain the same metric assignments
• Get a unique name with "(Copy)" appended
• Can be edited independently

Use Cases

• Testing changes: Duplicate before making major modifications
• Templates: Create a base scorecard, duplicate for each team/region
• Seasonal versions: Duplicate quarterly scorecards for new periods
• What-if scenarios: Create copies to explore different target configurations
